The Earthmover Marketplace offers a modern, cloud-native data sharing experience for high-velocity gridded weather, climate, and geospatial datasets. Data Providers can share free or open data, or set custom pricing. Data Users get instant, high-throughput access to datasets, ideal for analytical and AI workloads.

Core Concepts​

  • Data Provider — An Organization which provides data via the Marketplace.
  • Data User — An Organization which consumes data via the Marketplace.
  • Listings — Specific offerings in the Marketplace that data providers can define, share, manage, and monetize. A listing may represent the contents of an entire Repo or a filtered variant (subset by variable, timestep, spatial region, etc.). A listing is created and managed by the data provider.
  • Subscriptions — Instances of a Subscription attached to a specific Data User organization.
